-
How often should I get a massage?
For maintenance, we recommend scheduling a massage or bodywork session every 3-4 weeks. For clients that we are working with on specific dysfunctions such as severe back pain, neck pain, or joint problems, we see them every week or every 2 weeks to make faster progress.
Pain Resolution FAQs
-
What is the difference between Physical Therapy and what you do for Pain Resolution?
Physical Therapists help people rehabilitate structural injuries and recovery from surgeries. They can help resolve pain, diagnose certain issues, and provide certain types of manual therapies like cupping, scraping, dry needling, etc. At Primal, we help people resolve pain and dysfunction, but we do not assist with structural injuries or immediate post-surgical work. Physical Therapy is necessary to complete first after surgery or structural damage such as ACL tears, broken bones, etc.

-
I’ve already tried physical therapy, chiropractic, and massage. How is this different?
We take a holistic approach that combines movement coaching, nervous system regulation, hands-on bodywork (if local), and education. We don’t treat you like a collection of symptoms - we help you rebuild safety, trust, and confidence in your body so you can be strong and free.
